Wear properties of the deep gradient wear-resistant layer applied to 20CrMnTi gear steel
Abstract
A deep gradient wear-resistant layer is applied to 20CrMnTi gear steel with high hardness and thick case. The tribological properties of wear-resistant layers are studied with different relative rolling-sliding ratios. The results indicate that the overall wear resistance of the deep-gradient-layer sample is 1.8–6 times higher than that of the conventional heat treatment sample.
