Abstract
The calcareous nannofossil biostratigraphy and bio-events of the Coniacian–lower Campanian succession are examined from the Dokan section, northeastern Iraq, along the southern Tethyan margin. In the Dokan section, calcareous nannofossils are affected by dissolution and silicification.
