Abstract
Chemically heterogeneous amphibole, ranging in composition from magnesio–riebeckite through ferri–ghoseite to clino–suenoite, was found in a specimen of Sanbagawa quartz schist from the Iimori region of the western Kii Peninsula, central Japan.
