Inadvertent Localized Intensification of Precipitation by Aircraft

Eleven years of dual‐polarization weather radar data, complemented by satellite and lidar observations, were used to investigate the origin of areas of localized intensification of precipitation spotted in the vicinity of Helsinki‐Vantaa airport.
