Abstract
A Cl − and I − ion‐containing amphiphilic diblock copolymer [PEO‐ b ‐P(qVBC‐ co ‐St)], IBCP , which comprises the poly(ethylene oxide) block and poly(quaternized 4‐vinylbenzyl chloride‐ co ‐styrene) is prepared by sequence reactions.
