Application of chaos theory to optimize the running-in parameters by using a running-in attractor
Abstract
The running-in quality and efficiency could be improved by optimizing load, velocity and initial surface roughness of contact surfaces. The relationship between characteristic parameters of running-in attractor and running-in quality was studied. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the greater the correlation dimension, the less the enclosing radius, the better the running-in quality. Taking correlation dimension, enclosing...
