Encapsulation of plumbagin using cyclodextrins (CDs), including α-cyclodextrin (αCD), β-cyclodextrin (βCD), and γ-cyclodextrin (γCD) to form inclusion complexes was investigated to prevent the loss of plumbagin in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.
