Abstract
The Sareke Cu deposit in the western Tarim region (Xinjiang, NW China) is hosted in continental sedimentary rocks of the Upper Jurassic Kuzigongsu Formation and Lower Cretaceous Kezilesu Group. Stratabound orebodies occur mainly in conglomerate and minor in siltstone.
