Abstract
Marfan syndrome (MFS) is an autosomal dominant connective disease etiologically related with FBN-1 gene mutation. The altered microfibril protein structure result in characteristic cardiovascular abnormalities including aortic root dilatation, aortic root aneurysms, and aortic dissections.
