Abstract
Introduction Approximately 8% of patients with CRSwNP undergo surgery annually. Endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) has been shown to be cost-effective compared to coventional medical therapy. A novel medical option, the exhalation delivery system with fluticasone (EDS-FLU) was recently approved by FDA for the treatment of nasal polyps in adults, and has shown potential in clinical trials (NAVIGATE I/II) to reduce need for ESS by ∼60% after 24 weeks....
