Four remote sensing soil moisture (SM) data products (ESA CCI, FY-3B, SMOS/BEC, SMOS/CATDS) across China are evaluated from the aspects of their statistical characteristics (mean value and variation coefficient (CV)), correlations with precipitation and ground based measurements.
