Postprandial hyperglycemia (PPH) transiently impairs vascular endothelial function (VEF) in an oxidative stress-dependent manner by decreasing nitric oxide (NO•) bioavailability. Dairy milk and its proteins attenuate PPH, but whether this improves VEF is unknown.
