Placebo‐Controlled Randomized Trial of an Intestinal Bile Salt Transport Inhibitor for Pruritus in Alagille Syndrome

Medically refractory, severe, cholestasis-induced pruritus in Alagille syndrome may be improved by surgical interruption of the enterohepatic circulation.
