Abstract
Actinic cheilitis (AC), a common premalignant condition related to chronic solar radiation exposure, mainly affects the lower lip of middle-aged and fair-skinned people. Histopathologic examination reveals solar elastosis and epithelial hyperplasia or dysplasia or, eventually, squamous cell carcinoma.
