This paper reviews the LGBTQ+ intimate partner violence (IPV) literature published since 2015. Though LGBTQ+ IPV mirrors heterosexual cisgender IPV in most ways, sexual and gender minorities face higher rates of IPV, potentially worse outcomes, and different IPV trajectories.
