Abstract
The stress corrosion crack (SCC) initiation and propagation behavior of three heats of Alloy 600 in simulated pressurized water reactor (PWR) primary water have been studied. The SCC initiation time could be effectively detected using constant load tests with in situ direct current potential drop (DCPD) method.
