Abstract
Endoglucanase I from the filamentous fungus Trichoderma reesei catalyses hydrolysis and glycosyl-transfer reactions of cello-oligosaccharides. Initial bond-cleaving frequencies determined with 1-3H-labelled cello-oligosaccharides proved to be substrate-concentration-dependent.
