25OH Vitamin D (VitD) insufficiency and increased cardiovascular risk (CVR) association is still debated. The VitD dependendent paratohormone (PTH), is considered as the possible actuator of VitD effects on CVR. In an overall population observational study, we assessed the role of PTH in predicting CVR.
