Two versatile salicylatocopper(II) complexes: Structure, spectral, magnetic, electrochemical properties and SOD mimetic activity

Two new salicylatocopper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(3-Mesal)2(inia)2]2 1 and [Cu(4-MeOsal)2(H2O)]·H2O 2, (where 3-Mesal = 3-methylsalicylate, inia = isonicotinamide, 4-MeOsal = 4-methoxylsalicylate) have been studied in solid state or in solutions.
