Abstract
Anisotropic, biomorphic (wood-derived) potassium-based geopolymer (KGP) - biocarbon (CB) composites with net shape were manufactured by infiltrating KGP slurry into monolithic porous biocarbon (CB) structures (~77 vol% porosity) derived from pyrolyzing beech wood.
