Statistical properties of the extended capability index in exponential processes

In this paper a maximum likelihood estimator for the extended capability index is obtained, where fuzzy quality is considered under an exponential process. Moreover, the consistency, biassednes and the mean square of error for the proposed estimator are discussed.
