Abstract
Two seven-coordinate organotin complexes, namely, [(Me2Sn) (μ-L) (4,4′-bipy)0.5(CH3OH) (DMF)]n (1) and [(Me2Sn) (μ-L) (1,10-phen)]n (2) (H2L = 6,6′-dithionicotinic acid, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine and 1,10-phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), were synthesized in a 1:1:1 M ratio reaction of Me2SnCl2, 6,6′-dithionicotinic acid and different N-donor ligands.
