Abstract
Representatives of the froghopper family Sinoalidae were exclusively known from Jurassic deposits in northeastern China. A new taxon, Fangyuania xiai Chen, Szwedo and Wang, gen. et sp. nov., is erected from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber and assigned to this family.
