Ecto-nucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolases (E-NTPDases) are cell surface-located transmembrane ecto-enzymes of the CD39 superfamily which regulate inflammation and tissue repair by catalyzing the phosphohydrolysis of extracellular nucleotides and modulating purinergic signaling.
