Abstract
Detrital zircon U-Pb age dating was used for provenance determination and maximum age of deposition for the Upper Permian (upper Teekloof and Balfour formations) and Lower Triassic (Katberg Formation) lithostratigraphic subdivisions of the Beaufort Group of South Africa's Karoo Basin.
