Advances in the Chromosome-Centric Human Proteome Project: looking to the future

Introduction: The mission of the Chromosome-Centric Human Proteome Project (C-HPP), is to map and annotate the entire predicted human protein set (~20,000 proteins) encoded by each chromosome.
