From Osteoimmunology to Osteomicrobiology: How the Microbiota and the Immune System Regulate Bone

Osteomicrobiology refers to the role of microbiota in bone health and the mechanisms by which the microbiota regulates post-natal skeletal development, bone aging, and pathologic bone loss.
