Abstract
A Gram-stain-negative, rod-shaped, non-motile, strictly aerobic, chemoheterotrophic, light-yellow-pigmented bacterium, designated strain 02OK1/10-76T, was isolated from a mangrove estuary in Japan by use of an in situ cultivation technique.
