Abstract
Objectives This study investigates the factors that could influence the development of delayed gastric emptying (DGE) after pancreatoduodenectomy (PD). Delayed gastric emptying is a common complication after PD. The postoperative course is affected by a lengthened hospital stay, a decrease of the patients' quality of life, and a delayed adjuvant treatment.
