Morphological, anatomical, and distributional data concerning the S outh A frican endemic beetle subtribe P ythiopina ( T enebrionidae: P edinini) are revised. Five species, representing two genera, are recognized. Included in this total is one new species ( Meglyphus mariae K amiński sp.n. ).
