Abstract
The performance of pulse oximeters is highly influenced by motion artifacts (MA) in photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals. MA can't be eliminated completely by using the traditional filtering algorithms, which results in the error in the measurement of blood oxygen, so this paper presents a new method to detect and remove MA in PPG signals.
