Abstract
On June 23, 2016, on a turnout of 72.2% of those eligible to vote, a small majority (51.9% vs 48.1%) in UK’s EU referendum voted to leave the EU. UK people will now no longer be citizens of the EU but tourists and visitors to it. However it was an accidental exit.
