A long-term improvement in Danish stream fauna: Analyses of temporal dynamics and community alignment of a biotic index

Danish streams have for some decades shown a significant improvement in ecological quality. This is based on a time-series of a subset of 247 sites from the nationwide monitoring program with reoccurring annual sampling.
