Abstract
Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is an autoimmune disorder resulting from the interaction between autoantibodies and desmoglein. Here, we report a case of PV developed after 5-aminolaevulinic acid-based photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT). The harmful and deleterious effects of UV radiation on the onset, during course, and perpetuation of PV have been observed for decades.
