Abstract
The first fossil of the family Hydraenidae preserved in amber is described: null Archaeodraena cretacea null Jach & Yamamoto, gen. et sp. nov. The description is based on a well-preserved adult found in Cretaceous amber from northern Myanmar (Burma).
