Abstract
Pectin-degrading enzymes (pectinase and pectin lyase) were produced in solid state fermentation by Bacillus subtilis SAV-21 isolated from fruit and vegetable market waste soil of Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, India, and identified by 16S rDNA sequencing.
