Abstract
The El Abra porphyry copper deposit belongs to the Late Eocene—Early Oligocene metallogenic belt of northern Chile, which host several world-class porphyry copper deposits. Our previous geochronological work done on this deposit provides the temporal framework for petrological data interpretation.
