Abstract
The Palaearctic species of the genus Metaclisa Jacquelin du Val, 1861 are revised. M. andoi sp. nov. is described from Yunnan Province, China. Androsus cyanescens Pic, 1934 syn. nov. is proposed as a synonym of Metaclisa atrocyanea (Lewis, 1891). An identification key for the 8 Palaearctic species is compiled.
