Abstract
Tetramethylpyrazine is a bioactive compound found in Chinese black vinegar. This work is to investigate the potential effects of tetramethylpyrazine on intracellular cholesterol modulation in HepG2 cells. The results demonstrated that tetramethylpyrazine can induce intracellular cholesterol efflux.
