Abundant odonatans have been discovered from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber, and Burma has played an important role in early damselfly diversification during the mid-Cretaceous. In this paper, a new damselfly, Palaeodisparoneura cretacica sp. nov., is described from Burmese amber.
