Abstract
A 17-year-old girl was transferred to our Intensive Cardiological Care Unit (ICCU) from a referral pediatric hospital with a diagnosis of cardiogenic shock. She presented severely hypotensive (blood pressure 79/51 mm Hg) although on very high dose norepinephrine (0.5 μ/kg/min) and epinephrine (0.5 μ/kg/min) inotropic support; heart rate was 133 bpm; urine output absent.
