Enteropathogen-Induced Microbiota Biofilm Disruptions and Post-Infectious Intestinal Inflammatory Disorders

Recent observations indicate that acute enteric infections may contribute to various intestinal and extra-intestinal disorders long after elimination of the inciting microorganism.
