Abstract
Leptus clarki sp. nov. is described and separated from the two previously described North American larval Leptus (Acarina: Erythraeidae), and other American species. It is the second larval Leptus recorded as an ant ectoparasite. Larval Erythraeidae rarely parasitize Hymenoptera.
