Abstract
To estimate the HIV prevalence among children between 0 to 7 years old in one county with HIV epidemic.In September 2000, finger tip blood samples were collected from 619 children between 0 to 7 years old in three districts of one county with high HIV prevalence and tested for HIV antibody and HBV antigen.Among those 619 children, 11 were found HIV positive, with the prevalence of 1.8% (11/169).
