Abstract
A temperature wave method has been applied to observe the thermal diffusivity through the isotropic (Iso)-nematic (N)-smectic Sm-A-Sm-C-Sm-B-crystals VI-VII-VIII phase transitions of terephthal-bis-(4-n-butylaniline) (TBBA).
