Polymer derived silicon oxycarbide ceramics (SiOC-PDCs) with widely different carbon contents have been synthesized, and their structures have been studied at different length scales using high-resolution 13C and 29Si magic-angle-spinning (MAS) NMR spectroscopic techniques.
