Abstract
Urease from Klebsiella aerogenes is composed of three subunits (UreA–UreB–UreC) that assemble into a (UreABC)3 quaternary structure. UreC harbors the dinuclear nickel active site, whereas the functions of UreA and UreB remain unknown.
