Abstract
The Qinling–Dabie–Sulu orogen is the most prominent Phanerozoic orogenic belt in China. The discovery of ultra-high pressure (UHP) minerals in zircon inclusions suggests that the crust was subducted to deeper than 120 km into the mantle and then exhumed to shallow crustal.
