Abstract
Fischerella sp. FS 18 has been characterized physiologically, biochemically and morphologically at the combination of extremely low and relatively high irradiance (2 and 300 µE.m -2 .s -1 ), different pHs (5, 7, 9) and extremely limited carbon dioxide concentration.
