Abstract
Biosorption of arsenic (III) and (V) from aqueous solutions by living and dried biomass of fresh water microalgae was investigated. A total of five microalgae namely Chlorella, Oscillatioria, Scenedesmus, Spirogyra and Pandorina were identified as arsenic tolerant and used for further studies.
